Brett Demers
Chelmsford Valley District
Composite School
Volleyball, basketball and hockey
Demers is a Grade 11 student at Chelmsford
Valley District Composite School. ItÂ's only December and
Demers has already been involved with three major school sports
teams. He started the school year as a dynamic member of the
senior boysÂ' volleyball team - a team that won silver at the
SDSSAA Championship Tournament. Before the volleyball season
was over, Demers was already skating his way into a position on
the hockey team and dribbling the ball up the court for the
senior boysÂ' basketball team.
Whatever team he plays on, Demers gives 100
percent and plays with an intensity that helps ignite his
fellow teammates. He is a determined young athlete who never
gives up, no matter the score or the situation. In the spring
Demers will trade in his skates and basketball for a tennis
racquet where, there is no doubt, he will continue to be a role
model for all to emulate.
