The first annual T2 Fitness Combine was held on Saturday, testing the power, speed and endurance of all competitors.

Men, women and juniors in various weight classes put their strength to the test through a course including tire flips, truck pushes, farmer's walks and reverse sled drags. A winner was awarded in each category, based on the fastest times for completion.

In the men's heavyweight category (over 210 pounds), Ryan Crouch took the title, followed by Trevor Almenar and Chad Thompson.

Mat Gilbert was the top male lightweight (under 210 pounds), followed by Lem Randall and Daniel Aubut.

In the women's division, Stephanie Bonin took the top spot, followed by Christy Carbone and Meghan Dalcourt.

Catlin Cargill was the top junior competitor (under 17), with Niko Suban and Filippo Raso following.

According to organizers, they are hoping the T2 Fitness Combine will grow into a major annual sporting event in Sudbury.

The event was hosted in part by Troy Thompson of Trained by Troy. For more information, visit www.trainedbytroy.com.
