Basketball Canada is looking for a few good,
young men.
The Nike Centre of Performance Tryouts for
Basketball Canada will take place for all male players on
Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005 at the Lasalle Secondary School
gymnasium.
The trouts runs from 12 noon to 3 pm and is
for boys in Grades 7 to 11.
Basketball Canada runs the program in attempt
to identify players who have tremendous athleticism, skill and
potential to play at the National level.
Elite players will be selected to attend a
final tryout in Toronto at a later date with 30 other high
level kids. The Toronto program will consist of four weekend
clinics over the course of 2006.
There is no charge for the initial tryout at
Lasalle. More information is available on the basketball
