The Sudbury Wolves, the Ontario Hockey League
and the City of Greater Sudbury will pay tribute to Wolves'
veteran and Sudbury native Bobby Chaumont at Friday night's
home game against the Barrie Colts.
Chaumont, 20, broke the all-time OHL record
for most consecutive games played on Sunday when he
participated in his 267th consecutive OHL game for the Sudbury
Wolves. He leads the Wolves in goals this season with 30 goals,
the second time he has reached the 30 goal plateau in his OHL
career.
Pre-game ceremonies begin at 7:25 pm.
The Wolves currently trail the Colts in goals
this season by one point for fourth place in the Eastern
Conference. The team finishing in fourth place will receive
home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Friday's game will be pivotal in determining the
Wolves' home ice fortunes in the playoffs.
