It's a full fledge invasion this weekend at the Sudbury Arena as Barrie and Windsor storm the city looking for wins.
Tonight, the Colts stampede into town. Game time is 7:30 pm. On Sunday, the Spitfires zoom into town. Game time is 2 pm.

Here's a quick look at how each opponent's season has progressed to this point.

Barrie

Prior to weekend action, Barrie held onto first place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 34-13-0-1. They have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games, and it has cost them in the overall standings. One month ago, Barrie was first overall in the OHL, but the team slipped to fourth overall.

Barrie has won four of the last five games they've played against the Wolves, including a 7-3 pasting last Saturday night.

At the trade deadline, Barrie had some local flavour to their roster by acquiring Corey McGillis from Windsor.
In his first six games, McGillis recorded zero points, but did show a physical edge by getting into a couple of fights. The six-foot-one, 211-pound forward even fought Wolves' defender Adam McQuaid last weekend.
Overall, in his first 41 games, McGillis has 11 goals, 22 points and 121 penalty minutes.

Barrie, of course, is always led by the high scoring trio of Bryan Little, Hunter Tremblay and Richard Clune. Those three players have scored 77 goals combined. Little leads Barrie in goals, assists and points with 29-44-73 totals. Tremblay and Clune both have 24 goals. The Colts have one other sniper, Kris Sparre, who has netted 21 goals in his first 48 games.

Barrie also has one of the league's top goalies in Andrew Perugini, who has already recorded 30 wins on the season. With a sharp 2.89 goals-against-average and .917 save percentage, Perugini is in the top-five for goalie statistics.

Windsor

There's a huge rebuilding project underway in Windsor as the team attempts to not only lay a new foundation, but also get some much needed respect.

Prior to weekend action, Windsor sat ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 15-30-1-1. They are the third worst team in the OHL. The new ownership, led by former NHL player Bob Boughner, has yet to have a big impact on the franchise.

Windsor had gone 2-8 in their last 10 games.

Two key players to watch for are former Wolves' player Keaton Turkiewicz and Bradley Snetsinger. Turkiewicz has 17 goals and 31 points in his first 46 games. Snetsinger has 41 points in his first 42 games.
