Local hockey fans will have the chance to watch Sudbury Wolves rookie sensation Eric O'Dell work his magic at the 2008 IIHF World Under-18 Championship in Russia.

TSN/RDS will cover all of Team Canada's remaining games.

Canada plays Slovakia today to finish the round robin portion of the tournament. The game will be aired at 7:30 am.

TSN/RDS will continue their coverage right through to the gold medal game on Wednesday, April 23, which starts at 11 am.

Win or lose today, Team Canada and O'Dell will play in the quarter-final match on Sunday versus either Finland or the United States. The game starts at 9 am.

O'Dell has enjoyed a solid tournament, scoring one goal and three points with a +1 rating in three games.

O'Dell, who started the season playing Junior A hockey with the Cumberland Grads, is considered a sure-fire NHL prospect.

The five-foot-11 Ottawa native stormed the OHL by recording 14 goals, 32 points and a +10 rating in 26 games with the Wolves.

O'Dell was acquired by Sudbury from Oshawa, along with forward Dean Howard, in exchange for Kevin Baker at the trade deadline.
