Greater Sudbury's Kristina Fabris, who completed her
collegiate career as a member of the University of South
Florida volleyball team this past fall, was recently recognized
by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as
the All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.
Fabris' work ethic transitioned into an impressive senior
season for the Bulls.
The five-foot-10 athlete  finished second on the team in
kills (409), aces (36) and digs (333) while was also third in
total blocks (86).
"Kristina has unbelievable drive and work ethic when it comes
to strength and conditioning," said USF head coach Claire
Lessinger.  "She has been a special student-athlete to
coach and watch develop in all aspects."
