The battle for second place will be decided this weekend when the Gladiators take on the Twin Cities Predators in Waterloo on July 18. In their first match of the season, the Predators stole a 10-8 victory from the Sudbury team.Game time July 18 is 4 p.m. at St. David's Catholic High School.

A win in Waterloo will all but seal home field advantage for the semi final on the Gladiators' home field. This would mark the first time Sudbury has hosted a playoff game since the 1994 Sudbury Spartans.

The Gladiators will play the final regular season game on the road, facing the winless York Simcoe Bucs in Newmarket on July 26 at 1 p.m.
