The Valley East Lions won the NEHL division A Bantam championship. They finished the season with a 22-0-1 record and also won two local tournaments: the Espanola Spring Break and the Verner tournament. In the championships final, they beat the Capreol Hawks 4-0 in the first game and then tied the next two meetings 1-1 and 2-2 giving them a total of four points and the championship.
