Sudbury got off to a quick start, netting three early goals off the sticks of Luc Comtois, Chris Kangas and Justin Lariviere to take a 3-0 lead into the second period.

The teams traded goals in the second, each team scoring twice. Jordan Mills and Kyle Shaw scored for Sudbury while Morgan Rudiger and Brenden Galley replied for North Bay.

Michel Ouellette finished off the scoring for North Bay with a goal in the third.

Nick McMullen was the starting goalie for the Wolves, making 29 saves for the victory.
