NOJHL action heats up tonight at the McClelland Arena in
Copper Cliff as the Sudbury Junior Wolves host the North Bay
Skyhawks. Game time is 7:30 pm.
Sudbury is coming off a 4-3 victory in North Bay Friday night.
Both teams are in a heated battle for first place. The winner
of this game will claim top spot in the NOJHL standings since
only one point separates them.
Sudbury has a record of 7-1-4-2, good for 25 points and second
place. At home, Sudbury has been tough, going 4-1-2-0. The
Junior Wolves have only one regulation time loss in their last
10 games. They feature the league's Number One offence with 63
goals for. Scott Restoule is the overall league-scoring leader
with 14 goals and 33 points in 14 games. Sudbury owns a
monopoly on the first four places on the scoring leaders board.
Chris Kangas is second with 22 points, followed by Chris Pontes
with 21 points and Brenden Biedermann with 20 points.
