Kids learn about canoeing at camp

Participants learn the basics of canoeing and kayaking before moving on to sprint boats. Children will meet certain achievement levels by the end of the week. Other activities at the camp include swimming, ball hockey, frisbee, tag, soccer, survivor and British Bulldog.

The camp costs $180 per week for children 7 to 12. Children receive a free T-shirt at the end of the week. The day camp program is eligible for the children's fitness tax credit. For more information phone 673-6032 or go to sudburycanoeclub.com.
