Laurentian Voyager soccer alumnus Wellesley Robertson will have a homecoming of sorts come August 22 when he performs with the A.B.S. (Abstrakt Breakin Systemz) Crew at the 2008 Sudbury Summerfest taking place at Bell Park Aug. 21-24.
The native of Markham, Ontario is a former defender for the Laurentian Voyageurs, who became known for his rock solid play in the backfield.
Robertson also became well known for donning another Laurentian uniform, the Voyageurs mascot, performing at basketball games and putting on spectacular half-time shows. His dedication to the department both on and off the field earned him the Voyageur Awards in 2004-05.
Robertson and the A.B.S Crew will perform six times from Aug. 22-24 in the following schedule.
Friday, Aug. 22 - 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm (Festival Square)
Saturday Aug. 23 - 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm, 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm
