The Laurentian Spring Basketball League is back for 2009 and looking to build off a strong inaugural year.
The schedule will include two different leagues -  the Laurentian Basketball League (LBL) and the Laurentian Basketball Development League (LBDL).
Both leagues are set to begin early May at Laurentian's Ben Avery Gymnasium.  Games will take place Tuesday nights from 6-10 p.m.
The rules will remain the same with just one change; teams will no longer be allowed to play zone defense.
The LBDL will be for players attending Grade 9 to 11 next September.
The LBL will be for all players Grade 12 and above. There will be limited enrolment in each league, so sign up as soon as possible.
LBL and LBDL players will each receive a reversible jersey and a guaranteed eight games with their $125 registration fee.
