Here's a look at what Sudbury's
Olympic athletes have been up to in Turin.
Cross-country skier Devon Kershaw and Team
Canada finished in 11th place in the men's 4x10-kilometre
relay Sunday. Kershaw was the first relay skier for Canada and
was leading the pack at the end of his leg of the race.
Kershaw placed 48th in the men's
15-kilometre classic Friday with a time of 41:42.7. The best
Canadian finish George Grey of Rossland, B.C. who finished 32nd
with a time of 40:43.9.
Next up for Kershaw is the men's sprint
on Tuesday at 4:30 am.
Todd Bertuzzi and the men's ice hockey
team were silenced on the weekend, losing 2-0 to the underdog
Swiss on Saturday and 2-0 to Team Finland Sunday. Bertuzzi has
three assists, four penalty minutes and six shots on net in
four games so far.
Canada's next game is versus the Czech
Republic at 10:30 am Tuesday on CBC (channel 9, cable 8). The
medal round starts Wednesday.
