The schedule has been set for the Ontario Hockey League's Eastern Conference Championship Series between the red-hot Sudbury Wolves and Belleville Bulls.
Game one of the championship series will be played Wednesday, April 18 in Belleville at the Yardman Arena. Game two will take place Thursday night before the series returns to Sudbury.
The Wolves will host game three Sunday, April 22 at 7:30 pm at the Sudbury Arena. Game four is scheduled to take place Monday, April 23. Game time will again be 7:30 pm.
The Bulls and Wolves will enjoy several days off after each completing four-game sweeps in their respective quarter-final series.
The Wolves completed an improbable sweep of the favoured Barrie Colts, who finished on top of the Eastern Conference standings a full 30 points ahead of Sudbury in the regular season standings, following a thrilling 4-2 win on home ice Monday night.
Both teams enter the championship series playing sensational hockey. The Wolves have won seven straight games and have lost only once in the playoffs. Belleville has the same kind of streak going, easily disposing of Ottawa, before sweeping Oshawa.
Belleville also wrapped things up Monday night with a 5-2 win over Oshawa.
Game five of the Wolves-Bulls series, if needed, will be played in Belleville on Wednesday, April 25, while game six, if needed, will return to Sudbury on Friday, April 27.
If a seventh-and-deciding contest is needed, it will be played Sunday, April 29 in Belleville.
Season ticket holders were able to pick up tickets for the
first two games of the series on Thursday and Friday. Remaining
tickets for members of the public will go on sale at the
Sudbury Arena box office Monday at 9 am.
