Sudburians are invited to pick up their free
used skates this weekend at the Lockerby Legion on Long Lake
Rd. from 10 am to noon on a first come, first served
basis.
The Legion has been collecting gently used
skates from the community in preparation for the skate exchange
and has welcomed a donation of more than 40 pairs of skates
from Play It Again Sports.
Anyone with used skates to donate can drop
them off on Saturday's, at the Farmer's Market on Elm
St. or at the Human League Office, 471 Ontario St. (back door
of the Allstate Building).
Other days this winter to pick up skates are
Jan. 7 and 21, Feb. 18, and March 4 from 10 am to noon at the
Lockerby Legion.
