With Sudbury Wolves' forward Kevin Baker in the penalty box, Tomas Stryncl scored in overtime to give the Brampton Battalion a 5-4 win.

The Wolves, along with goalie Michael Swick, were looking for their fourth consecutive win Sunday. Swick received a standing ovation from Wolves' fans Friday night when he blanked the Erie Otters 6-0 for his first career OHL shut-out.

Sophomore Matt Dias scored twice in the Sudbury win.

On Sunday, things didn't go quite as smoothly for the Wolves, who again opened the scoring in the first period, but this time couldn't keep the Battalion off the scoreboard.

Stryncl, who scored two goals and an assist, was the hero for Brampton. Adam McQuaid, Akim Aliu, Jonathan D'Aversa and Devin DiDiomete scored for the Wolves. Nick Foligno had two assists and leads the team in assists (20) and points (29).

Just 50 seconds into the extra frame, Baker was called for hooking. Stryncl scored the game-winning goal on the ensuing powerplay. The Wolves are the most penalized team in the OHL, serving 467 minutes so far this season.

With the win and the overtime loss, the Wolves picked up three points this weekend and currently sit in third place in the Central Division with a 10-7-1-1 record. The Battalion are in last place in the Central Division with a 7-11-1-1 record.

The Wolves next game is Nov. 10 versus the Guelph Storm.
