Sudbury sprinter Celine Loyer placed fourth in the Women's 50 m Invitational at the Hamilton Copps Indoor Games Friday.

Loyer, a College Boreal student, was the 2008 silver medallist in this event and the 2007 gold medallist. This year the line up included 2008 gold medallist Mavis Ayippey.

Loyer placed fourth in a time of 7.06. However, she ran a very good time of 6.95 in the semi-finals. Loyer is a second year massage therapy student at College Boreal, and competes for DSSG Athletics Club.

Loyer's semi-final time will give her a top 10 ranking in Canada in the 50 m.
