Sudbury Wolves Head Coach/GM Mike Foligno announced the acquisition of 18-year-old forward Kain Allicock from the Saginaw Spirit. In exchange, the Wolves sent their fourth round selection in the 2010 OHL Entry Draft to the Spirit.

Allicock, is a 6-4, 215 lb left winger that will bring size and toughness to the Wolves line-up. Allicock is a native of Thornhill, Ontario and is playing in his second season in the OHL.

Allicock is among the league leaders in penalty minutes (99). He has scored four goals and added four assists in 33 games with the Spirit this year. Allicock was a fan-favourite in Saginaw due to his rugged style and will add a physical presence to the Wolves' line-up.

"We are very excited to have Kain join our team and play a physical role for our team," said Foligno in a release. "He brings a physical presence, he is a good skater and he uses his size and strength to his advantage. Our skilled players will enjoy a little more time and space when Kain is on the ice."

Allicock is expected to make his debut in a Wolves' jersey tonight when the Wolves host the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors at 7:30 p.m.
