The Sudbury Wolves have teamed up with The
Amazing Persona to televise five Wolves' home games live on
cable channel 10.
The inaugural broadcast will be Saturday Feb.
11 when the Wolves play host to their division rivals, the
Mississauga Ice Dogs. Game time is 7:30 pm.
Wolves' president Mark Burgess said that
it's great that people who aren't able to attend games,
will also be able to see the Wolves play.
"I am very pleased to provide local
hokey fans with the ability to watch our team play at
home," said Burgess. "This year has been a
record-breaking year for attendance. We believe there are still
people out there who don't know what they're missing .
. . these broadcasts will go a long way to promoting our brand
of OHL hockey here in Sudbury."
Channel 10 will also broadcast Wolves games
against the Barrie Colts Feb. 17, the Windsor Spitfires Feb.
26, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds March 3, and the Toronto
St. Michael's Majors March 10.
