Wolves' defenceman Marc Staal was one of three Sudbury players, along with forward Ben Pouliot and defenceman Jonathan D'Aversa, to be named to the OHL All-Star team.
The rosters for the 2006 Bell OHL All-Star Classic were announced by the Ontario Hockey League as Sudbury Wolves players' Marc Staal, Benoit Pouliot and Jonathan D'Aversa were named to the Eastern Conference team.

Roster selections were made by the management teams of Jeff Twohey, of the Peterborough Pete's, and Alan Millar, of the Sarnia Sting. The teams will be led by Dale Hunter, coach of the London Knights and Brian Kilrea, coach of the Ottawa 67's.

The 2006 Bell OHL All-Star Classic takes place Feb. 1 at the Yardmen Arena in Belleville. The OHL All-Star Skills Competition is scheduled for Jan. 31.
