The Snowplate 2008 Tournament will take place this weekend
at the Practice Tee Driving Range, located at 1271 Goodview
Road. The action runs all day on Saturday and Sunday starting
at 9 am.
The event is being hosted by the Sudbury Ultimate Club
(SUC).
Approximately 20 teams from all over Ontario participate in this popular winter tournament. Competitive and recreation teams come together to share in the spirit of the game.
The Sudbury Ultimate Club is a recreational league that promotes and organizes Ultimate (Frisbee) in Sudbury. The age range of the co-ed summer league is primarily 20 to 40 and older. The club also organizes a competitive league, pick-up games, fall league and an indoor winter league.
