Todd Bertuzzi and the men's ice hockey team go home disappointed in 2006, failing to defend their Olympic gold medal from four years ago. The Canadians fell to Team Russia 2-0 in the quarter-finals Wednesday.

Bertuzzi, who was a play-making force for Canada in the first two games, was held scoreless in the final four contests, three of which were shut out losses. It was Bertuzzi's third period penalty Wednesday that led to a Russian powerplay and the winning goal by Alexander Ovechkin.

Bertuzzi finishes the tournament with three assists, nine shots on goal and six penalty minutes in six games.
