The Sudbury Wolves went hunting for European talent at the 2006 CHL Import Draft and didn't leave empty handed.

The Wolves added two more players to their roster they hope will crack the lineup and make a decisive impact for the upcoming 2006-07 Ontario Hockey League season.

With their first round pick, 51st overall, Sudbury grabbed Patrik Lusnak from Slovakia. The highly skilled centre played with HK Skalica last season and stands six feet tall and weighs 180-pounds. In 51 games, Lusnak recorded 26 goals and 27 assists for 53 points. His total led his junior squad. Lusnak is eligible for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

In the second round, the Wolves nabbed defenceman Jakub Korinek from the Czech Republic. The six-foot-one, 204-pound stay-at-home defender, played for HC Plzen of the Under-20 Czech Extraleague. Korinek recorded three goals, seven points and 70 penalty minutes in 37 games last season.
