The Sudbury Wolves continued on their winning ways during the Exhibition Season with a 7-5 win against the Niagara Ice Dogs Friday evening at the Sudbury Arena.

A large crowd was on hand at the Sudbury Arena to witness the Wolves firepower as goals were scored by Jared Staal (2), Brett Thompson, Patrik Lusnak (2), John Kurtz, and Peter Hermenegildo.

Forward Eric O'Dell contributed with three assists while STAAL also picked up two assists for a four point night. The Niagara Ice Dogs replied with goals by Thomas Middup, Freddie Hamilton, Marco Insam (2) and Jason Bergeron.

GM and head coach Mike Foligno juggled the lines to audition new combinations. The intensity between the teams was evident, however, which sets up a rivalry between the Central Division opponents this season.

The Wolves will continue their Exhibition Schedule on Friday, September 12 when they host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at the Sudbury Arena. Game time is 7:30 pm.
