Sudbury Wolves overage netminder Sebastian Dahm was solid in thwarting the Mississauga IceDogs snipers and was named OHL Player of the Week for his fine play.

Dahm has been named the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 1. Dahm stopped 91 of 97 shots he faced from Mississauga during this period.

He fashioned a sharp 2.32 goals-against-average and a sizzling .929 save percentage in leading the Wolves to three straight victories over the IceDogs and a berth in the second round of the 2007 playoffs.

The 19-year-old native of Coppenhagen, Denmark made 21 saves last Tuesday night in a 3-1 win. Last Thursday, Dahm stopped 32 shots during a 6-3 drubbing of Mississauga. Finally, Dahm made 38 saves this past Sunday to help Sudbury to a 6-3 win to take the series in five games.

In the first round series win, Dahm had a 3.01 GAA and a .916 save percentage.

Dahm was acquired by the Wolves at the trade deadline from Sarnia for a 2007 fourth round draft pick.

The Wolves travel to Barrie Thursday for game one of their Eastern Conference semi-final. Game time is 7:30 pm.

Game two goes Saturday night in Sudbury at 7:30 pm.
