The Wolves have acquired the Plymouth Whalers' first round selection in this year's CHL Import Draft in return for Sudbury's fifth round selection in 2012 OHL Priority Selection.
The Wolves are expected to exercise their higher selection this afternoon with the 39th overall selection.
The Wolves also acquired the 54th selection overall from the Belleville Bulls.
