The Sudbury Wolves have acquired a heavy hitter in free agent winger Ryan Donally from the Kitchener Rangers. The six-foot-five, 225-pound winger was a former third round pick of the Windsor Spitfires.

The six-foot-five, 225-pound winger was a former third round pick of the Windsor Spitfires. He was traded to the Rangers in the 2004-05 season. Donally, 20, was drafted in the third round, by the Calgary Flames in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

In 50 games last season, the rugged winger scored 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points while amassing 132 penalty minutes.

Donally, a native of Tecumseh Ontario, will be in uniform tonight to face off against his former team as the Wolves play host to the Rangers at the Sudbury Arena. Game time is 7:30 pm. The Wolves also play the league leading Peterborough Petes' this weekend. The puck drops Sunday at 2 pm.
