The Wolves took the 1-0 lead into the second, but the Bulls retaliated 33 seconds in on their own power play, to tie the contest. The Bulls capitalized on yet another power play to take the lead at the 13:09 minute mark.

The crowd was very hostile towards the Bulls during the match up, constantly booing Bulls defenseman P.K. Subban every time he touched the puck, as well as taunting the leading netminder Mike Murphy.

While the Wolves had chances to score on four power plays in the third, they weren't able to get past Murphy, finishing the game 2-1 for the Bulls.

"We had some opportunities with the power play to get the extra goal. We got one on the power play. Unfortunately they scored two on theirs," said Wolves' head coach and general manager Mike Foligno, adding they weren't able to get the puck to the net enough times.

"They have to execute a little bit quicker, be more supportive on the ice and find a way to get pucks to the net. I think that's the really the key on the power play. They (the Bulls) did it a couple of times however indirectly scoring goals, because one of them i think was off the back boards. They scored a couple like that. They didn't really score any clean goals on us," Foligno said.

Wolves netminder Andrew Loverock was solid in net making 31 saves in the loss while Murphy recorded 27 saves for the Bulls victory.

"Andrew Loverock did a great job again for us, goaltenders were really good for both teams. One break could have changed the whole game and the momentum for us. Unfortunately tonight we didn't get that break," Foligno commented.

The head coach said they have to play with the jump they did in the third period as they head into their last home game. He noted that it's hard on the players after losing both games at home.

"You're always frustrated when you lose tight ones like we had in the last two games, but I think the thing we have to understand is that we're learning as we're going here. We want to make sure we give ourselves an opportunity to extend this series tomorrow night. I mean we have to play our best game of the year tomorrow night and that's what it comes down to right now."

The Wolves will play their final home game of the series against the Bulls Wednesday night at the Sudbury Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
