The Sudbury Wolves announced on Sept. 16 that Jarett Meyer has been released. 

Meyer was traded to Sudbury from Owen Sound during the 2015-2016 season, playing 38 games in a Wolves uniform.

"We thank Jarett for his contribution our community and wish him all the best in his future endeavours," said a news release from the team.

The Wolves home opener is set for Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. against the Oshawa Generals. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. with live entertainment of the local indie pop band Sea Perry.
