The Sudbury Wolves dumped Ottawa 6-4 on Sunday in their last regular season game to snap an ugly seven-game winless streak.

The Wolves busted out for four goals in the third period to sink the 67's.

Kevin Baker led the way with two goals. Justin Donati, Patrik Lusnak, Matt Dias and Andrew Self also scored for Sudbury.

Donati's goal was the 47th of his season, which set a new career high.

Backup goalie Michael Swick stopped 23 shots for his sixth win of the season.

The Wolves finished the 2006-07 regular season with a record of 29-30-3-6, good for 67 points.

Sudbury finished in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Sudbury will now met the Mississauga IceDogs in the first round of the playoffs.

Game times and dates have been tentatively set. Game One is expected to go this Friday in Mississauga at 7:30 pm. Game Two is expected to go Sunday, but no time has been firmly established.

Games Three and Four are expected to take place at the Sudbury Arena on March 28 and 30 at 7:30 pm.

More details will be released soon.

Sudbury and Mississauga split their regular season series, with both teams winning three games each.

Sudbury has also welcomed back forward Akim Aliu. The 17-year-old power forward was suspended by the team last week for conduct detrimental to the team. He missed two games and a full week of a practice.
