The Sudbury Wolves are in fine form as they wrapped up their undefeated pre-season trip to Europe with a 7-3 win over Moscow Dynamo of the Russian Superleague in the finale of the Four Nations Tournament.

Sudbury's Nick Foligno, who was selected 28th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2006 NHL entry draft, netted a hat trick in the game against Moscow and was named tournament MVP.

The Wolves got off to a hot start in across the pond with a 6-1 victory over the JKH Black Hawks from Poland. Akim Aliu was named player of the game with two goals while Foligno recorded three assists. Kevin Beech made 21 saves for the win.

The next day, the Wolves played a hard-fought game against HC Vitcovice of the Czech Republic, winning 4-2. Sudbury traded goals early with their opponents, with offensive contributions from Matt Dias, Adam McQuaid, Patrik Lusnak and Akim Aliu. Lusnak was named player of the game with a goal and an assist. Rookie goalie Michael Swick stopped 17 shots for his first win in a Wolves' uniform.

The final game against Moscow was filled with penalties as the teams combined for four fights and 382 penalty minutes. With undisciplined play, Moscow bore the brunt of the referee's wrath, tallying 260 minutes in the sin bin. The Wolves made them pay however, scoring six of their seven goals with the man advantage. Beech made 35 saves for the win.
