BY SCOTT HADDOW AND JASON THOMPSON Ten athletes from Greater Sudbury are going to Quebec for the National Track and Field Championships, which run from July 21 to 23.

Lasalle Secondary student Kristine Lalonde has once again been selected for the Under 15 Ontario Provincial Basketball Team. This is the third time Lalonde has been named to the provincial team.

Fans of Lady Vees basketball are now familiar with the sight of a tall lanky Christi Bauck wearing number 21 in the Laurentian blue and gold. However, this was not always the case.

Diana Ford, who wrestles for the Rayside Wrestling Club, took gold at the recent Commonwealth Youth Wrestling Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Ford went undefeated at the event to capture gold in the 52-kilogram division.
