More businesses have been hit by "quick change" scammers.

On March 26, West Parry Sound OPP officers were notified that a business had over $300 stolen in a quick change scam.

"Two customers targeted separate cashiers by making small purchases and requesting change for larger denomination bills. The customers spoke quickly and confused the cashiers, resulting in them making change for significantly more than they initially exchanged," said Constable Miles Loach.

The thieves are described as men, 30 to 40 years of age. Both have a dark complexion with dark hair and dark eyes. They were both wearing black jackets and dark clothing.

The OPP is requesting the public's assistance to identify the scammers. Any person with information regarding this crime should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
