The Kitchener Rangers have traded playing rights for forward Michael Hage to the Sudbury Wolves.
In return, the Rangers will receive up to five additional draft picks.
It includes first-round compensation selection, which will be the 11th-overall pick in the upcoming 2023 OHL Priority Selection.
In a release, Kitchener Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie said, "This was a difficult decision but ultimately we felt it was in the best interest of the organization to get a first-round compensation pick, a guaranteed fourth-round pick as well as additional conditional picks, should Michael ever play in the OHL."
We have completed a trade with the @Sudbury_Wolves. In the trade, we receive up to 5 #OHLDraft picks in return for the playing rights to Michael Hage.
