The Cambrian College Alumni Association and the Students' Administrative Council are hosting An Evening with Yuk Yuk's on Saturday, Feb. 2, beginning at 8 pm, in the Cambrian College Student Centre at the College's Barrydowne campus.
Comedians for the evening will be Chuck Byrn and Shannon Laverty. Byrn has headlined across the country and his act has something for everybody. While on stage, his goal is to encourage audience participation and give them a unique show that will never be repeated. Laverty entered the Yuk Yuk's Search for Canada's Funniest New Comic 17 years ago, and has since taken her act across Canada, to South Africa, and to Germany. Laverty's come-hither attitude and flirtatious delivery has been embraced by audience members of both sexes.
Tickets for An Evening with Yuk Yuk's are $15 and are available for purchase at the Cambrian Alumni Office, room 2431, at the College's Barrydowne campus, or phone 566-8101, ext. 7414. Tickets will also be available at the door.
