The Art Gallery of Sudbury is holding a Northern Exposure fundraisong art auction on Friday, April 4. The preview begins at 6:30 pm and the auction starts at  8 pm.
Tickets are $25 and include a bar ticket, light buffet and auction paddle.
Northern Ontario has a vibrant art scene and artists from across the north, and those who like to visit and contribute work, have been invited to the auntion, stated a news release.
The silent and live auction will be hosted by guest auctioneer, Magoo.
Magoo is a long time friend to Sudbury and the Northern Lights Festival Boréal, stated the news release. He is a singer/songwriter, host, family performer, guitar teacher, backyard shed builder, and fashion plate (clothed to match his many hats). He has hosted the Blue Skies Music Festival in Clarendon, Ontario for 28 years, is a past president of the Ontario Council of Folk Festivals and is a recipient of a prestigious Porcupine 'Off Beat 'Award, stated the release.
