From April 10 to 12, Science North will host a number of fun activities in celebration of Easter.

Starting April 10, children can see chicks and bunnies in the Gold Room and ladybugs and newborn mice and rats in the Biosphere.

Other Biosphere activities include building flowers, dying material with vegetable and organic dye, discovering the yummy science of maple syrup and building a contraption out of space junk. There will also be an Eggs-cellent Science Show in the Discovery Theatre.

These activities are free for Science North members.

Don't forget to bring a camera for a picture of the elusive Easter Bunny.

On April 12, the LakeHouse Dining Lounge is offering a special Easter Brunch at 9 a.m. Kids under 10 eat free. Phone 523-9669 for reservations.

Sudbury's best-known explorer Meagan McGrath will be starting a new adventure to the North Pole from April 9 to 27. Log on to http://sciencenorth.ca/meagan to view videos and listen to live audio blogs.

And finally, the Coca-Cola Torch Exhibition Tour stops by April 12. Come and get your picture with the official Olympic torch of the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver. Also includes a gallery of past torches and a number of Sogo Active games.
