Greater Sudbury Public Library presents Reading Tails

The Greater Sudbury Public Library, in partnership with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, is bringing children, dogs and books together with the spring session of Reading Tails.

The Greater Sudbury Public Library, in partnership with the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, is bringing children, dogs and books together with the spring session of Reading Tails.

Sessions of the Reading Tails program are being offered at the McKenzie Street, New Sudbury and Valley East branches. Days and times differ from branch to branch. Be sure to specify preference when
registering.

Registration is limited for the six week session, beginning the week of April 14. Parental supervision is required.

Reading Tails is a program designed to improve reading skills for children ages six to 11 by reading aloud to a certified St. John Ambulance therapy dog for 20 minute sessions, stated a library news release.
