Some popular musicians are helping raise money for a worthy cause.

On Saturday, Feb. 16 The Human League Assoc. will host the first Heart4Kids Benefit Concert at the Navy League Hall, 19 Regent St. at 7 pm.

Johnny Williams, who previously fronted the band Terra Cain, performs a solo opening act, followed by Toronto's The Sadies.

The popular four piece act combine country, rock and psychedelia into a unique sound.

Headlining the evening are The Good Brothers, veterans of the music scene since the 1960s including Northern Lights Festival Boreal. They have received eight Juno awards and were inducted into the Canadian country music Hall of Fame in 2004.

Funds raised will help families in need. Programs such as The Breakfast Club, the P.L.A.Y. program and KidSport program will be helped.

Doors open at 7 pm with the concert starting at 7:45 pm. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door. There will be a cash bar, door prizes, a raffle and a diamond draw courtesy of Ambrosia Jewellery.

Tickets are available at Cranky Joe's Roadhouse at both Hanmer and Sudbury locations, Black Cat Too and The Human League Assoc. Visit www.humanleague.on.ca and phone 670-8633.
