The Lively Heritage Arts Guild is presenting Autumn Splendour, a quilt, craft and collectibles sale, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Kinsmen Hall, (Citizens Centre) on Main St. in Lively. Admission is free.
Guild members have been busy with baking, quilting, designing and creating marvelous crafts. They have set up a penny table, displayed delightful collectibles and have organized a quilt raffle for their upcoming event.
Local photographer George Hill and textile artist Glenna Treasure will also display their works.
"We undertake several community service projects each year, such as making caps for chemotherapy patients, nighties for preemie babies and hats for the homeless. We raise funds for local community service groups as well as giving support to needy families," explained guild member Susan Blackwell.
"And, each year one of our fundraisers is a craft sale,"
