The third annual Northern Ontario Microbrew Festival takes place at the Caruso Club March 10 and 11.
This two day event, organized by local brewery Stack Brewing, will showcase Northern Ontario Craft Beer.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample beer from Split Rail Brewing from Gore Bay, Northern Superior, OutSpoken Brewing, and Union Jack Brewing from Sault Ste. Marie, Lake of the Woods Brewing from Kenora, New Ontario Brewing from North Bay, Highlander Brew Co. South River, Norse Brewery from Parry Sound, Haliburton Highlands Brewing from Haliburton, and of course Sudbury’s own Stack Brewing.
Also in attendance will be some honorary northerners such as Block Three Brewing (St. Jacobs) Redline Brewhouse (Barrie), Beau's All Natural Brewery (Vankleek Hill) Broadhead Brewing Company (Nepean) and Sawdust City Brewing (Gravenhurst). The festival also welcomes the return of Rheault Distillery from Hearst; they’ll be back sampling their locally made vodka and liqueurs.
Besides the beer; enjoy the musical mayhem of Murder Murder and Elliott Brood on Friday and Ed Sessions, Porketta, giveaways on the Saturday.
Friday tickets are $35 and Saturday tickets are $25 and grant you access to the festival, a branded festival glass, two sample tickets, and free access to Respect is Burning (Durham Social) for the Official After-Party.
There are limited Baller Passes (full weekend) available that get you into the full festival as well as Ed Sessions. Tickets are available at Stack Brewing, Fromagerie Elgin, in North Bay at New Ontario Brewing, and in Sault Ste. Marie at Northern Superior.
