The Sudbury Youth Contest, hosted by Charm Plus, was held Sunday at the Caruso Club. Forty-five young people took part in the day-long event which concluded with the crowning of Ms. Sudbury, Miss Teen Sudbury and Little Miss Sudbury.
Melani Boudreau won Ms Sudbury, Natalie Crispo won the teen title, and Serena Brunelle was crowned Little Miss Sudbury.
Mr. Sudbury, Mr Teen Sudbury and Little Mr. Sudbury were also selected: Matthew Bertrand, Mikey Kirchner and Braedan Liscum respectively.
The theme of the contest was My Sudbury. Contestants spoke with pride about their community, and were judged on their communication skills and community involvement, as well as their pose and charm.
Organizers donated a portion of the proceeds from the event to the ALS Society on behalf of Sudbury youth
