The Sudbury Arena has just announced two new events featuring internationally renowned performing artists.

On Sept. 30, Brampton comedian Russell Peters, 38, will bring his culture-mocking stand-up routine to town as part of his 20th Anniversary Tour. Peters is the first comedian to sell-out Toronto's Air Canada Centre and one of the few stand-up performers to sell out Madison Square Garden. His brand of humour has also brought in the second highest ratings the Juno Awards had ever seen in 2008 and has since continued to host the program.

Peters' first Comedy Central CD/DVD, Outsourced, has gone 11 times platinum in Canada and he has recently released a follow-up entitled Red, White and Brown.
Tickets are on sale now.

On Oct. 20, popular performance artists the Blue Man Group will bring their Megastar World Tour to the Sudbury Arena. The group is putting on a satirical workshop in order to have a "perfect rock concert experience," which has promised to be both interactive and mesmerizing for all ages.

The Blue Man Group have put on performances all over the world from the United States to Japan and have been featured on the popular television series The Tonight Show, Scrubs and Arrested Development.

Tickets for this concert are also on sale now.
