Dante Marcellus, 5, gives Shriner Lorne Chuipka a big hug after $51,000 was donated to the Sudbury Children's Treatment Centre by the Rameses Shriners of Ontario.

Shriners donate to Children's Treatment Centre The local Shrine Club contributed $21,000 of the amount through local fundraising, bingos and the collection of pop cans. The money will go towards the centre's botox program.

This program is a highly specialized treatment used to relieve the debilitating symptoms associated with certain childhood muscular disorders.

The injections last four to six months and are beneficial for small children. The Shriners have been funding Kids' Botox Clinics for six years.
