Sounding off during ‘Dickens Week’

The students dressed in period costume to promote the upcoming reading of A Christmas Carol.

The reading of the classic literary tale takes place Sunday, Dec. 13 at Sudbury Secondary School’s Sheridan Auditorium at 7.p.m. The evening will showcase high-profile community members as readers, and music from several Rainbow Schools bands, including the Sudbury Secondary School brass ensemble, the Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School woodwind ensemble, the Lasalle Secondary School bluegrass duo and the Lockerby Composite School jazz combo. The cost to attend is $10 for adults, $5 for students and $20 for a family.

All proceeds will go to the Joan Mantle Music Trust. Tickets are available at all participating schools, Black Cat on Durham Street and Jett Landry Music.
