Celebrated Cree musician, playwright and novelist Tomson Highway has chosen Sudbury as the place to hold the world premiere for his new show, Kisageetin: A Cabaret. The show will be held at Theatre du Nouvel-Ontario Aug. 7 at 8 p.m.

Former Guess Who and BTO guitarist Randy Bachman said fans are in for trip down memory lane Aug. 4. He is performing at the Sudbury Community Arena along with former Guess Who vocalist and keyboard player Burton Cummings.

Marcelin Henri turns 100 this Friday. He was born in Blezard Valley, July 24, 1909 to parents Josephine and David Henri. He was one of 10 brothers and sisters. At the age of 20, Marcelin worked in a bush camp with his father and younger brother.
