The 5 Way Carnival is coming to the Hanmer Shopping Mall May 2 to 12 to offer families a fun outing, while helping five local organizations.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Sudbury Development Services, Lions Club of Sudbury, Minnow Lake Lions Club, Carrefour francophone and the Kiwanis Club of Sudbury. Monique Godin, manager of the Jarret Value Centre and Sudbury Developmental Services, said the funds her organization receives will go a long way in helping them fulfil their plans.

“Our goal with SDS is to one day build a nursing home for developmentally challenged adults,” she said.

Tickets to the World's Finest Shows midway are now available. Day passes to the carnival cost $22 in advance and $35 at the gate.
