A+ performance: Boréal hygiene students ace exam

The results are in, and 100 per cent of Collège Boréal Dental Hygiene students passed the National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination (NDHCE) in May.

Dental Hygiene graduates must register with the College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario in order to practice in the province.

To do so, they must pass the NDHCE, a four-hour written exam designed to assess a candidate's readiness for entry-to-practice.

Administrated by the National Dental Hygiene Certification Board (NDHCB), the examination is offered three times per year in several locations across Canada.

Collège Boréal’s Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) and supported by the Consortium national de la formation en santé (CNFS).

“The National Dental Hygiene Certification Exam was developed to assess these specific skills and the results of our students clearly reflect the quality of Collège Boréal’s Dental Hygiene program.”
